Pitches at Gabriels-Camping, Alsmoos
1. Scope & Conclusion of Contract
These terms apply to the provision of pitches (motorhomes, caravans, cars) and tent sites on the farm premises in Alsmoos (hereinafter referred to as "booked area") as well as to the purchase of goods. The guest uses an online booking system that organizes capacities and dates. The contract is concluded upon dispatch of the booking confirmation by the online portal, including the assignment of a unique booking number.
2. Arrival and Departure
- Check-in: From 1:00 PM. (Existing defects must be reported immediately in accordance with point 8).
- Check-out: By 11:00 AM. The area must be left clean.
3. Payment Terms
Payment methods: PayPal or direct bank transfer (instant bank transfer recommended).
Deadlines: Full payment must be received no later than 13 days prior to arrival.
Short-term bookings: For bookings made from the 13th day prior to arrival or on the day of arrival, payment is due immediately.
Default & grace period: If payment is not received on time, the reservation and the claim to the pitch expire. A general grace period of 2 days from the payment due date is granted (this applies to all payment methods incl. PayPal and instant transfer).
Emergency on-site payment: A cash payment via drop box at the info board is only possible in exceptional cases. The operator must be informed via email at the time of deposit, stating the booking number. No liability for the security of the money.
4. Cancellation Policy
- Up to 14 days prior to arrival: 100 % refund.
- Up to 7 days prior to arrival: 50 % refund.
- Less than 7 days prior to arrival: no refund entitlement.
5. Site Rules & Environment
Cleanliness: The area must be left absolutely clean (free of trash, ash, bottle caps, cigarette butts).
Inventory: The provided inventory, e.g. the picnic set (table & benches), must be handled with care. After use, it must be wiped clean if necessary. Power and water connections must also be used with care.
Disposal: The discharge of gray/black water and vehicle washing are strictly prohibited.
Water: The faucet at the house (blue hose) must be fully turned off when water is no longer needed or when leaving the site as the last guest (mandatory before final departure).
Robotic mower: An autonomous robotic mower is in operation. Collisions must be avoided. In case of danger, press the red STOP button and inform the operator immediately.
6. Fire Bowl, Fire Safety & Purchase of Goods
General fire safety: Due to the proximity to nature, extreme caution must be exercised when using fire (grills, candles, stoves) and when smoking (cigarettes). Flying sparks must be strictly avoided. Cigarette butts must be disposed of in a fire-safe manner. In case of high forest fire risk, the operator may issue a general fire ban.
Fire bowl & ash: Use at your own risk. The fire must be fully extinguished before leaving the site. Only the provided metal bucket must be used for the disposal of cold ash. Coordination among guests for shared use is required.
Purchase of goods (self-service): A sales contract is concluded by pre-booking or by taking the goods. Payment must be made immediately; the operator must be informed via email at the time of removal at the latest.
Theft: Unauthorized removal without payment will be consistently reported to the authorities using video recordings.
Wood return & transport: Unused, full bags of wood can be returned after coordination via email. A separate bag (mini-bag) can be purchased for transporting leftover wood (coordination via email required).
7. Children & Duty of Supervision
The site is close to nature and does not offer specially secured play areas. The duty of supervision lies solely with parents or accompanying persons.
8. Liability & Damage Reporting
Usage: Use of the entire premises is at your own risk. No liability for damage caused by the robotic mower or tripping hazards.
Reporting requirement: Damage to the property of the operator or third parties must be documented immediately in writing via email with a description and photos.
Arrival check: Any contamination or damage found upon arrival must be reported in writing before occupying the area.
9. Video Surveillance & Data Protection
The premises are video-monitored (see signs). Details on data protection can be found on the website. Residents of the farmhouse/residential building are not contacts for the campsite operations.
10. Final Provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
